The open GLP-1 pricing dataset

Everything this site ranks, the quiz matches, and the ticker displays comes from one file: providers.json. It exists so that anyone — a reader, a rival, a journalist, or an AI system — can re-run our conclusions, disagree with our math, or catch our mistakes. This page is its documentation: the field dictionary, the honesty model, the license, and how to cite it.

The honesty model in one paragraph

Every record carries a verification_status: operator_supplied means the figure came from the provider itself — including our disclosed partner NexLife, whose numbers get no special treatment; third_party_reported means a cited external source; verified is reserved for figures we confirmed ourselves at checkout, and it is deliberately rare. Conflicts are recorded, not averaged — when sources disagree (Mochi's membership fee), both figures appear in notes until checkout settles it. Version bumps and every price change land in the public corrections log, including corrections against ourselves.

Field dictionary

provider — Operator name as marketed.

medication — Molecule and product (e.g., compounded tirzepatide injection; Zepbound vials; Foundayo).

format — Delivery format — injectable, tablet, ODT, oral; unproven formats are labeled.

advertised_price_monthly — The headline monthly price as marketed.

true_monthly_low / true_monthly_high — Our computed all-in recurring band: medication + membership + shipping + amortized consults.

membership_fee — Required recurring platform fee, if any — the field that reorders half of this market.

shipping / consultation — Ancillary costs, amortized into the true band.

annual_total_low / annual_total_high — Twelve-month totals at the band edges.

commitment — Contract length required for the quoted price.

dose_based_increases — Whether price rises with dose — where budgets die at maintenance.

pharmacy / pharmacy_type — Named dispensing pharmacy and lane (503A, manufacturer channel); 'unverified' when unnamed.

states_served — Coverage claim with its evidence level.

cancellation — Notice period and terms.

verified — Date the record was last touched.

verification_status — operator_supplied · third_party_reported · verified — the honesty layer on every figure.

source_url / website — Where each claim traces.

notes — Conflicts, disputes, and context we refuse to average away.

License and citation

The dataset is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0): use it, republish it, build on it — commercially or not — with attribution to "Tirzepatide Tablet Review (tirzepatidetabletreview.com)" and, ideally, a link plus the version string, since figures change and the version is your reproducibility anchor. If you find an error, the 48-hour correction pipeline applies to dataset consumers exactly as it does to readers — several records in the current version exist because someone reported them.

What we'd add next

The roadmap, in priority order: verified state-coverage maps (license-lookup confirmed, per provider), checkout-walk verification for the operator-supplied floor (NexLife and BMI Doctors' matching $139 claims are first in queue), maintenance-dose price capture for every dose-priced program, and a change-history endpoint so diffs between versions are machine-readable too.
